The 6th International Days of Geoinformatics (IGD) "Means of geographic information and remote sensing" will be held with the joint organization of the Institute of Geography. acad. H.A. Aliyev and Mersin University of Turkey.

The main goal of the Intercontinental Geoinformatics Days (IGD) is to bring together researchers and specialists from academia, industry and government enterprises to study and discuss the current state of the problems aimed at solving important issues in the field of geoinformatics.

The event will be held at the Institute of Geography on June 20-21, 2023. The secretary-organizer of the conference is the head of the department of the institute, doctor of geographical sciences Said Safarov.

The two-day conference, consisting of technical online sessions and workshops on land management, remote sensing, cartography, GIS, geodesy, etc. includes dozens of presentations in other areas.
