Senior Researcher of the Caspian Sea Monitoring Department, Institute of Geography named after Academician H.A. Aliyev, Doctor of Philosophy Ismayil Zeynalov took part in the All-Russian seminar "Problems of Earth Remote Sensing", which was held in Moscow.

The event presented a report on the work carried out over the past two decades to develop satellite-based methods for measuring the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2 - carbon dioxide and methane - CN4). Information was also provided on programs for the development of local and foreign satellite systems for monitoring CO2 and CH4 in the atmosphere, as well as ground-based observation networks that can be used to calibrate and test satellite information products.
