The next meeting of the Academic Council was chaired by Zakir Eminov, Director General of the Institute of Geography, Doctor of Geographical Sciences.
The event discussed the issue of admission to doctoral and dissertation programs for the preparation of a Doctor of Philosophy and a Doctor of Science in Geography for 2022 and the topics of their dissertations. An exchange of views on topics took place and proposals were made. The head of the institution noted that when writing dissertations, it is necessary to choose more important and relevant topics for the country. Z. Eminov also considered it expedient to use geoinformation tools in conducting research in accordance with the requirements of the modern era.
