At the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev, Ramila Adil gizi Aliyeva defended her dissertation work for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in geography, specializing in Physical Geography and Biogeography, Soil Geography, Geophysics and Geochemistry of Landscapes, Diagnostics and Regionalization, specialty 5408.01-Landscape -ecological and zoning of the Ganykh-Eyrichay valley and adjacent mountainous territories".

It was decided to apply to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan with a request to award Ramila Aliyeva the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Geographical Sciences.
