On March 2, 2023, a junior researcher at the Institute of Geography named after academician Hasan Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Beymkhanum Huseynova, held an open online lesson on the topic "Urbanization as a global phenomenon" for students of the School-gymnasium "Zhana-Gasyr" No. 175 of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Huseynova gave students general information about the concept of urbanization, the process of urbanization in the world, its advantages and disadvantages, spoke about the current problems of urbanization in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

At the end of the lesson, B. Huseynova held an interactive game with the students and answered all their questions on the topic.
