Head of the Department of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, prof. Amir Aliyev took part in the conference "Space technologies in Azerbaijan and the genius of Heydar Aliyev" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

At the event, organized by the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Aerospace Agency, the scientist made a presentation "Climatic resources of the northwestern coastal regions of the Caspian Sea (in the waters of the Republic of Azerbaijan)".

The report analyzes the natural and climatic conditions of the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea on the basis of long-term observational data from a health resort point of view. The processes that can occur in the coastal zone due to changes in the level of the Caspian Sea are being studied.
