The head of the department of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Sciences in Geography Said Safarov gave an interview to “Ictimai” radio.

During the 40-minute interview, the scientist spoke about climate change, its impact on the Caspian Sea, changes in the level of the Caspian Sea, precipitation, increased water in rivers, floods, El Niño and La Niño. He also gave listeners extensive information about climate differences depending on the area, the impact of climate on the economy, the lack of drinking water, and the radiation balance of the Earth.
