3 years have passed since the death of the famous Caspian Sea explorer and oceanologist, former director of the Institute of Geography named after academician H.Aliyev of the MSE of AR, laureate of the State Prize, academician Ramiz Mamedov.

The employees of the Institute of Geography, headed by the Director General, Professor Zakir Eminov, visited the grave of the deceased in the Alley of Honor. Flowers were laid at the monument of the scientist and prayers were read.

The bright memory of Ramiz Mamedov was once again honored at the Academic Council of the Institute of Geography.
