Makhbuba Fatullayeva, deputy head of the primary territorial organization of the Institute of Geography named after. acad. H. Aliyev, took part in the event dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the first coming to political power in Azerbaijan of national leader Heydar Aliyev entitled “July 14, 1969: The beginning of the path of successful development.”

Before the official part of the event, participants paid tribute to the blessed memory of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Leader of our people, and laid flowers at his grave on the Alley of Honor. Then the Martyrs’ Memorial Complex, located in the Yasamal district, was visited, and the blessed memory of our martyrs was respectfully remembered, flowers were laid in front of the complex.

Representatives of the Yasamal district spoke and expressed their opinion about the great leader. After the speeches, a group of party activists who distinguished themselves in the socio-political life of the region were presented with certificates of honor, and new members of  the party received their membership cards.
