Kamran Ramazanli, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, turned 50 years old.Ramazanli was born on August 31, 1974 in the village of Ashagi Gulaver, Bolnisi district, Georgia. In 1991, he graduated from secondary school in this village with honors, and in 1992-1997 he studied at the geography department of Baku State University.
He worked for the Kafkaz magazine and the Sharq newspaper. In 2007-2010, he worked as an assistant to a member of the Milli Majlis. In 2012-2013, he worked as a senior consultant at the State Committee for Standardization, Meteorology and Patents of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1998-2005, he was the chairman of the SABAH Youth Union, and in 2008-2013, he was the chairman of the Center for Caucasian Studies. Since September 2019, he is the co-founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of the SOYDASH Public Association.Ramazanli played a special role in strengthening Georgian-Azerbaijani relations, in matters concerning our compatriots living in Georgia.
Last year, his co-authored book “Ilham Aliyev’s Georgian Policy: in the Context of Energy Strategy” was presented in Baku and Tbilisi. In 2023, the book “Heydar Aliyev’s Energy Strategy and Georgia”, published in Azerbaijani and Georgian, was presented in Tbilisi.
In February of this year, K. Ramazanli was elected Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Geography named after academician H.
