An employee of the Institute of Geography took part in the summit within the UN Sep 23, 2024 | 06:09 / IMPORTANT EVENTS

Ismayil Zeynalov, PhD in Technical Sciences, leading researcher of the Department of Geomorphology of the Coast and Bottom of the Caspian Sea of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev took part in the summit within the framework of the project "Sustainable Development Goals in Latin America and the Caribbean", organized by the NATURE publishing house.

The event presented innovative strategies for overcoming educational shortcomings, solving complex problems related to inequality in the region, implementing inclusive policies that ensure fair education for all, possible ways of developing renewable energy sources, etc.

It should be noted that the scientist was invited to this summit after his report “The Role of Meteorological and Geographical Factors in the Formation of Radioactive Waste” at the III International Congress of Social Sciences, Innovations and Educational Technologies held last year.

The organizers especially appreciated I. Zeynalov's new view on the problem in this report. The researcher was awarded a certificate from the SPRINGER NATURE publishing house.
