A memorandum of understanding on expanding cooperation in the fields of scientific research and education has been signed between the Institute of Geography, Public Legal Entity (PLE) under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Institute of Agricultural Problems of the same ministry.The document, which enters into force on 27 April 2026, envisions strengthening the scientific potential between the institutes, conducting joint research projects, as well as promoting the exchange of faculty, students, and staff.
The parties will also explore opportunities for cooperation in supporting student admissions at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels for educational and research purposes, and expanding the mutual participation of academic staff.
The memorandum has been approved by the heads of both institutes and marks the beginning of a new stage in the development of long-term scientific cooperation between the parties.
