On June 5, 2026, a discussion of the dissertation entitled “The Impact of Natural-Geographical and Socio-Economic Conditions on Human Health in Azerbaijan”, prepared by doctoral student Ayshan Mammadova of the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held.
The discussion took place at the Scientific Seminar of the BFD 1.23 One-Time Dissertation Council, established on the basis of the FD 1.23 Dissertation Council operating under the Institute of Geography. During the seminar, the applicant presented the main findings of her research, and an extensive exchange of views was held on the relevance, scientific novelty, theoretical significance, and practical value of the dissertation.
Participants of the seminar expressed their opinions and recommendations regarding the dissertation, and the author provided comprehensive answers to the questions raised. At the conclusion of the discussion, the scientific level of the research was assessed as satisfactory, and it was considered appropriate for the dissertation to proceed to the next stage - the public defense.
According to the final decision of the seminar, Ayshan Mammadova’s dissertation entitled “The Impact of Natural-Geographical and Socio-Economic Conditions on Human Health in Azerbaijan” was recommended for defense.
