A general meeting of the Trade Union Organization was held at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by Shahla Amirova, representative of the United Trade Union Committee of Scientific Organizations, the Institute's management, and members of the scientific and administrative staff.

Opening the meeting, Acting Director of the Institute, Doctor of Geographical Sciences and Associate Professor Zaur Imrani, emphasized the importance of trade union organizations in strengthening the social protection of employees, safeguarding their rights and interests, and fostering a healthy working environment within the collective.

Subsequently, in order to form the new composition of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Geography, the chairmanship of the meeting was entrusted to Hamdulla Aliyev, Head of the Institute's Administrative Department.

In accordance with the agenda, the issue of electing a new composition of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Geography was discussed. Proposals regarding the candidates were heard, and information was provided about their activities and the contributions they could make to the work of the organization. As a result of the open voting, Kamran Ramazanli, PhD in Agricultural Sciences Vusala Isaqova, Nurana Yuzbashova, Elnur Bagirov, PhD in Geography Turana Huseynova, Samir Seyidmammadov, and Nigar Bayramova were elected to the new committee.

Following this, an open vote was held to determine the new composition of the Audit and Supervisory Commission. According to the voting results, Saida Mursalova was elected Chair of the Commission, while PhD in Geography Sima Aliyeva and PhD in Agricultural Economics Afat Jafarova were elected as members of the Audit and Supervisory Commission.

At the final stage of the meeting, with the participation of the newly elected Committee and Audit and Supervisory Commission members, the election of the Chairperson of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Geography was considered. As a result of the open voting, Kamran Ramazanli was unanimously elected Chairperson of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Geography.
