On September 14, 2026, a meeting on employee attendance and working hours was held at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Chairman of the Institute’s Trade Union Organization, Kamran Ramazanli, stated that, in accordance with the relevant letter dated September 10, 2026, from the Cabinet of Ministers, a flexible working schedule will be introduced for a period of two months starting from September 15 in order to reduce traffic congestion.
During the trial period, employees will work according to three different schedules: 08:00–17:00 (30%), 09:00–18:00 (40%), and 09:30–18:30 (30%).
It was noted that the working schedules would be formalized in accordance with the established distribution, and employee attendance would be monitored.The meeting also included an exchange of views on work discipline and strengthening relations among employees.
Information was also provided about a trip to the Gabala and Ismayilli districts, organized for Institute employees on October 3, 2026. It was noted that the trip aims to promote the effective use of employees’ leisure time and strengthen communication and solidarity among colleagues.
