As part of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture,” an event titled “National Sovereignty and Oil Strategy” was held in Yasamal district on the occasion of September 20 – State Sovereignty Day and Oil Workers’ Day.

The event was jointly organized by the Yasamal District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), the Yasamal District Executive Authority, and the “Neftqazelmitədqiqatlayihə” Institute. Active members of the YAP Primary Party Organization of the Institute of Geography of the MSE, Mahbuba Fatullayeva and Tunzala Ismayilova, participated in the event.

Prior to the event, the participants visited the Martyrs’ Memorial Complex and paid tribute to the cherished memory of the martyrs. Flowers were then laid at the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

During the event, speeches were delivered on State Sovereignty and Azerbaijan’s oil strategy, and a video presentation on the topic was shown.
