Scientists of the Institute of Geography will participate at the Symposium in Almaty Sep 18, 2018 | 04:09 / IMPORTANT EVENTS

On October 13, 2018 in Almaty, in Kazakhstan, at the Turkish University Ömər Halisdəmir, the Fifth Symposium of Turkic World Studies will be held with the joint organization of the Pedagogical University of Girls of Kazakhstan, the State Pedagogical University Akmulla Bashgird (Russia) and the University of Baku Avrasia (Azerbaijan).

Director of the IG named after acad. H.Aliyev of ANAS, Ramiz Mammadov, PhD in geography, deputy director for science –Maharram Hasanov, head of the department Mirnukh Ismayilov will deliver a report “Geographical space and geopolitical situation of the Turkic world”, the head of the department, PhD Zaur Imrani, will make a report on the topic “Tourist potential of the Turkic states and ways of using it”.

In addition to the reports, an exhibition, festival “Our roots are one – we are Turks” and other similar events are envisaged within the framework of the symposium.
