The associate professor, leading researcher of the department “Geomorphology and natural risks” at the Institute of Geography, S.A. Tarikhazer, published a textbook “General Geography” in Russian language for teachers and students of faculties of geography.

    The book considers the object and tasks of general geography. The basic information about the structure and conditions of the Earth’s formation is done. Characteristics of the geospheres of the geographic shell are presented. One chapter is devoted to environmental problems. Numerous tables, maps and illustrations are given.  

  The manual will be useful for undergraduate and graduate students of faculties of geography.
