11 employees of the Institute of Geography, who will take part in competitions in chess, checkers and table tennis as well as representatives of the IG, headed by PhD Abil Akhverdiyev, chairman of the trade union, attended the opening of the II Sports days organized by Free Trade Union of ANAS.

In the event with participation of 20 scientific enterprises and organizations, competitions will be held in four kinds of sport: football, chess, checkers and table tennis. The Sports days  will last until October 25 and will be led by a judges of national and international importance.
