The Institute of Geography named after acad. H.Aliyev of ANAS, Azerbaijan Geographical Society and Association of Russian social geographers scientists published the collection “Human Geography in Azerbaijan and Russia: ways of development in 21st century”.

The chief editor of the book is Academician Ramiz Mammadov, and the scientific editor is D.Sc. in geography-Zakir Eminov.

The editorial board included doctors of geographical sciences H.Khalilov and R.Gashgay, PhDs M. Ismayilov, I.Guliyev, doc. N.Eyyubov, Z.Imrani and A. Aliyev.

The book contains materials from the International conference of social geographers of Azerbaijan and Russia, held on May 10-14, 2018 in Baku.  

The conference discussed the problems facing the science of “Public Geography” (Human), their implementation, priority areas of scientific research and ways to solve them.
