The book "Geomorphology and the Environment" of the Institute of Geography of ANAS was published.

The book was written by the head of the department, Doctor of Science in geography Huseyn Khalilov, contains scientific and , partly, popular science articles on a number of problems in geomorphology, especially on the relationship between relief and the environment.

The articles describe the development of geomorphology in Azerbaijan, the impact of relief on the environment and its role in the search for minerals, as well as the country's natural monuments and their importance for ecotourism, as well as some aspects of fluctuations in the level of the Caspian Sea.

The monograph is intended for researchers in the field of science about Earth, students and the general public.
