Main scientific achievements:

Maps of different thematic (physical-geographical, natural components, population, economical and so on) and training maps for higher educational establishments, secondary schools, complex thematic and training atlases have been compiled. The generalization of landscape complexes, their dynamics and forecasting were investigated with applying of cartographic methods. Cartographic analysis and evaluation of the trend towards horizontal structure change of geo-complexes and landscape diversity have been studied by physical and geographical regions of the Major Caucasus.  The development of cartographic landscape metry and its development at the junction of various fields of science were investigated. Thematic maps have been compiled using Arc Gis program. Maps of different content and scale were scanned with professional scanner and introduced in electronic data base of the Institute of Geography.

According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan about the publication of “Atlas of the Azerbaijan Republic Emergencies” (02.03.2016) work is made in this direction. Base maps were developed in scale 1: 500000, 1:1500000
