At the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of ANAS, Sara Hikmet gizi Baghirli defended her dissertation on the topic “Economic and geographical aspects of the development of medical and tourist centers in the Republic of Azerbaijan” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in geography 5402.01 “Historical geography, political and recreational geography”.
It was decided by secret ballot to apply to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to award her the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Geography.
