Beyimkhanim Huseynova, junior researcher at the Department of Demography and Population Geography of the Institute of Geography named after academician H.A.Aliyev, took part in the online format of the Global Peace Youth Summit held in Rotterdam, the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The conference dedicated to the Glasgow climate agreement discussed climate fluctuations occurring in the world and in its individual regions, and their impact on the economy and population resettlement. B. Aliyeva made a presentation on the topic "The role of the climatic factor in the resettlement of the population in the north-western regions of Azerbaijan." She also gave extensive information about the current state of the population resettlement in the region, about the factors affecting the population resettlement, climatic fluctuations that have occurred in the region in recent years, their consequences and the impact on the population resettlement.
At the end of the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Global Adaptation, prof. Patrick Vercoin presented certificates to active youth.
