The book “Gobustan: geomorphological conditions and resources” was published, authored by employees of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Azerbaijan Republic - Associate Professor, Doctor of Geography, Starа Tarikhazar, Associate Professor, PhD Elina Kerimova, as well as late PhD Galib Kerimov.

Using GIS technologies, the authors analyzed the relief of Gobustan and assessed its characteristics and main features from the point of view of recreation. The territory was zoned and zones that were particularly advantageous for the formation of recreational and tourism infrastructure were identified.

The book is intended for specialists in relevant fields, university teachers, doctoral students, master's and undergraduate students, and can be used when organizing investment projects to develop tourism in Gobustan.
