Ismayil Zeynalov, PhD. In technical sciences, leading researcher at the Caspian Sea Monitoring Department of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.A. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took part in a seminar organized by Virginia Tech and Old Dominion University with the support of NASA's Earth Protection Department.

NASA workshop on UNBOUND COASTAL ISSUES, part of the Science Information Systems program, covers modeling tools for coastal zone management, spatial systems modeling for flood risk management, data visualization of sea level rise and fall issues, and assessment of human impacts on coastal issues .

Workshop participants received valuable feedback and practical recommendations for improving the use of geoscience data. At the end, participants were awarded NASA certificates.
