Head of the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources, Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev, Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Geography, Prof. Rza Mahmudov was a guest of the ITV program “Good Morning, Azerbaijan”.

In the program dedicated to the Caspian Sea, the professor gave interesting factors of fluctuations in the level of the Caspian Sea, the impact of climate change on the level of the Caspian Sea and, accordingly, on climate changes in the Caspian Sea.

The scientist spoke about the role of the Caspian Sea in shaping people’s living conditions, its importance in the water balance, economy, and transport. Issues of monitoring and COP 29 were also mentioned.
