The students of the Justus Libix University of Germany, who were intern at the Institute of Geography on the basis of scientific-experience exchange, visited the areas of Azerbaijan with high historical tourism potential.
For two days, the students visited the "Ateshgah Temple" State Historical-Architecture Reserve and the "Yanardag" State History-Culture and Nature Reserve accompanied by Beimkhanim Huseynova, a junior researcher of the Department of Demography and Population Geography.
During the trip, the students were given extensive information about the history of both reserves, the purpose of their creation, the exhibits located in the territory of the reserve, and the role of these reserves in the development of historical tourism.
