PhD Ismayil Zeynalov, employee of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took part in the online training “Impact of Carbon Dioxide Measurements on Climate Change Using NASA Observations” organized by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Houston, USA.
This three-part training, attended by almost 350 specialists from around the world, showed that space-based CO2 measurements have become an important tool for supporting climate research.
The training moderators provided a deeper exploration and demonstration of OCO-2 and OCO-3 measurements based on previous CO2 training as part of the webinar. Data collection and analysis were also important learning factors.
