The Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of the MSEAR published its annual report.

Giving a report, PC Chairman Kamran Ramazanly said various issues reflecting the interests and concerns of the team were discussed at the meetings of the organization based on the statements and proposals of the employees of the institute. Relevant decisions were made and submitted to the management.

It was noted that in the reporting year, the Institute of Geography celebrated a number of important historical dates for the republic - December 31 - Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis, the Khojaly genocide, March 8 - International Women's Day, a checkers competition dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as a trip to the city of Lankaran, and an event dedicated to the memory of Academician R. Mamedov was held at the Eureka Lyceum.

The Chairman of the PC also presented a report on financial expenses for events and other issues to the participants of the event.
