An employee of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of the MSEAR, PhD in technical sciences Ismail Zeynalov took part in a webinar organized by Springer Nature on the topic of “Understanding Research Indicators”.
The event focused on promoting access to global scientific resources and showcasing the capabilities of the Springer Nature platform under the Government of India’s One Nation, One Subscription (ONOS) programme.
The webinar provided participants with detailed information on widely used metrics such as Impact Factor, Scopus, CiteScore, Web of Science (WoS), etc., as well as lesser-known but important measurement systems such as Eigenfactor, Journal Citation Indicator, etc.
The session also discussed ways for researchers to effectively use scientific indicators, the formation of publication strategies, and the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence in this area.
