On April 13, 2026, a meeting took place between the staff of the Geography Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Public Legal Entity) and the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the activities of the Technical     Committee on the development of National Standards in the fields of “Soil Science, Agroecology and Agrochemistry” (AZSTAND/TK 32), established in previous years, as well as to further expand cooperation between the two institutions.

     During the meeting, Acting Director of the Geography Institute, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor Zaur Imrani, stated that they are ready for joint activities aimed at expanding cooperation and implementing future prospects.

     The discussions between the parties were extensive and productive, and an exchange of views was held on future opportunities for cooperation.
