Leading researcher of the IG, doc. S.A.Tarikhazer gave a lecture to the 4th year students of the BSU, who were taking a practical training on the topic “Landslades in the territorie of Big Baku (Masazir, Bayil slope, Zikh, New Guneshli, Akhmedli etc)”. Photos and videos have been shown during the lecture, accompanied by own observations.

Along with natural factors, she stressed the great impact on landslides and anthropogenic factors.

She also spoke about potentially dangerous zones and eco-geomorphologic tension of Big Baku, noting that these territories will in the future be massively built up by residential buildings and industrial enterprises.
