Loads on the coastal waters of the Caspian Sea were discussed Jun 19, 2019 | 11:06 / SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLIES

At the workshop of IG the research scientist Dr.Sc. in geography Said Safarov  made a report on the theme “Pressure on the waters of the Caspian Sea and transitional waters of the Kura Delta and from the delta to Lenkoran”.

The scientist informed about the results of studies to determine the factors of environmental pressure on the coastal waters of the Caspian Sea and the Kura delta.

He pointed out that the most acute ecological situation is observed in the coastal waters of the delta up to the Gyzylchay Bay, which is the result of dirty drains into the sea of various rivers, channels and collectors.

The scientist said that more research is needed to better determine the effects on the observed water basins.
