A joint meeting of the Institute of Geography named after H. Aliyev with Public Union of “Specialists in the field of water use” was held at the Institute of Geography under the chairmanship of academician Ramiz Mammadov.

After acquainting the participants with the issues on the agenda, Academician R.Mammadov presented the report on the activities of the Union for 2020 to the Executive Director of the PU, Ph.D., Associate Professor Rashail Ismayilov. In order to instill in young people the efficient use of water, to increase their scientific knowledge about water, to draw public attention to this area, the speaker gave detailed information about the project PU "Let's protect the environment together with our state".

The activity of the Public Union "Specialists in the field of water use" in 2020, during the pandemic, was assessed as "satisfactory".
