Employees of the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan successfully participated in an online international conference held on April 10 and organized by the North Kazakhstan University named after Manash Kozybayev.
Alongside the Acting Director of the Institute of Geography, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Zaur Imrani, participants included PhD in Geography Ruhangiz Heydarova, as well as doctoral students Gular Hidayatli and Gullu Asgarli.
Within the framework of the event, Gular Hidayatli presented a report titled “The history of development and geographical features of sports and health tourism in Azerbaijan,” while Gullu Asgarli and Ruhangiz Heydarova delivered a joint presentation titled “A rational and empirical-theoretical approach to tourism and recreational systems.”
The presentations were met with great interest by participants, and extensive discussions were held around the topics. The reports stood out for both their scientific novelty and practical significance. At the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates.
It should be noted that participation in such international events makes a significant contribution to the expansion of Azerbaijan’s international scientific relations, the strengthening of scientific exchange, and the development of young researchers.
