H.Aliyev of ANAS – D.Sc. on g2eography Zakir Eminov, head of direction “Human Geography”, head of dept. of Landscape and Landscape planning, PhD in geography Mirnukh Ismayilov, leading researcher of the dept. of Climate and Agroclimatic Science, D.Sc. on geography Sayid Safarov stayed on a business trip in Neftchala February 21-24.

Scientists studied the socio-economic development of the Neftchala district, received information about the environmental problems of the Kura River, sources of pollution, identified environmental damage from the Iodine Bromine plant, conducted a survey of the population and summarized all the information received.
